Couples Couponbook (CCB) Participant Guidelines
Conduct guidelines for participants in the Couples Couponbook (CCB) online communities and properties.

At CCB, we created a unique mobile application for people who want to add fun and spice to their relationships. We also created a product to help empower people in relationships to enjoy their significant others even more. The CCB Community Participant Guidelines apply to everyone who uses/participates in a CCB-branded or CCB-sponsored program, platform or community that incorporates these Guidelines by reference (each, a “CCB Environment”).

We know a few things:
This application is romantic/sensual in nature and therefore unique to the needs of protecting our users. This means that many of the CCB content oversight will be done on an “individual case basis”. This requires an individualized review of each case submitted to ensure safety, fairness, integrity, and non-offensive content

Reading “Guidelines” might sound boring, but please do take a minute to read and understand them – they’re important. And check back often, because the world is changing and these Guidelines will evolve too – we reserve the right to change them from time to time.

What are the Guidelines?

• Be nice.
  
  
• Be respectful of others.
  
  
• Don’t be (or contribute or share content that is) malicious, obscene, intimidating, harassing, threatening or bullying.
  
  
• Keep it legal
  
  
• Don’t violate (or contribute or share content that violates) the laws of your country, state, province, or city (yes, we mean all the laws that apply to you – this includes laws governing harassment, consumer protection, anti-discrimination, and intellectual property).
  
  
• No Lewd Content.
  Don’t post or share things and or content that you know (or suspect) are lewd and/or dangerous.
  
  
• Offensive and/or harmful Content includes any or all of the following adult topics:
  • Hate speech:
  • Language promoting hatred, discrimination, or nonconsensual violence against individuals or groups based on characteristics such as race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
    
    
• Discrimination:
  Content that advocates for or promotes discrimination against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
  
  
• Offensive or Hurtful:
  Obviously monitored on a case-by-case basis to determine what content would be considered “Offensive or Hurtful”. Nonconsensual offensive or hurtful words, phrases or content, especially when malicious or excessive.
  
  
• Nonconsensual harassment and bullying:
  Nonconsensual Intimidating, threatening, or repeatedly targeting individuals with hurtful harassment or abusive comments, including cyberbullying.
  
  
• Nonconsensual threats of violence:
  Incitement of nonconsensual threats of violence or physical harm against individuals or groups.
  
  
• Graphic, shocking or illegal content: Material that is gory, gruesome, or disturbingly shocking, including depictions of violence or injury without sufficient educational or documentary context.
  
  
• Nonconsensual distressing content:
  Material that might be upsetting or disturbing, particularly including but not limited to: children, animals, blood, scat, or other distressing content.
  
  
• Nonconsensual sexual harassment:
  Unwelcome nonconsensual sexual attention, advances, or sexually explicit comments, jokes, or imagery.
  
  
• Animal cruelty:
  Content depicting or glorifying abuse or violence against animals outside of normal hunting or food processing practices.
  
  
• Inappropriate adult content
  
  
• Nonconsensual sexually violent material:
  Nonconsensual pornographic or sexually suggestive violent content, including nudity or depictions of sexual acts.
  
  
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): ANY content depicting or promoting sexual activity or abuse involving children, or solicitation of minors is an immediate termination of using the app & an immediate official reporting to the appropriate authorities.
  
  
• Misinformation and deception
  False or misleading information: Information that is inaccurate, deceptive, or fraudulent, including false news or manipulated media.
  
  
• Spam:
  Unsolicited or repetitive content, mass solicitations, or irrelevant commercial content.
  
  
• Clickbait:
  Sensationalized headlines or descriptions used to lure clicks without delivering on the promise of the content.
• Illegal activities and dangerous content

Illegal activities: Content that facilitates or promotes illegal activities or violates applicable laws and regulations.

• Dangerous or restricted goods and services: Promotion or sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or other restricted items.
• Self-harm: Content that encourages or promotes self-injury, including anorexia or bulimia.
• Violations of privacy and intellectual property
• Sharing personal information without consent:

Doxing – exposing private information about others without their explicit permission.

• Copyright infringement:
  Sharing or using copyrighted material without obtaining the necessary permissions
  
  
  

Banning or Suspensions.
We care about users, creators, community, and safety is of the utmost priority here. Don’t infringe copyrights, trademarks, or any other intellectual property right of others. Be respectful, and have fun; where appropriate, the content you share, or create, and obtain any necessary permissions.

IMMEDIATE BANNINGS:
Understand that ANY and ALL content that is created by users that has any reference to the following – will result in an immediate banning from using the CCB. Additionally, if any content including the following content is submitted for approval – the proper authorities will be notified immediately.

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM):
  ANY content reported depicting or promoting sexual activity or abuse involving children, or solicitation of minors is an immediate termination of using the app & an immediate reporting to the appropriate authorities will ensue.
  
  
• Animal cruelty:
  Content depicting or glorifying abuse or violence against animals outside of normal hunting or food processing practices.
  
  
• Nonconsensual sexually violent material:
  Nonconsensual pornographic or sexually suggestive violent content, including nudity or depictions of sexual acts.

 

Lock it Up.
Don’t disclose confidential information that you don’t have the right to disclose. Keep your personal information (such as name, phone number, address, password) private, and don’t ask anyone else to reveal personal information.

Own it. You–and not Couples Couponbook (CCB)–are solely responsible for all your activities and the content you contribute or share in any Couples Couponbook (CCB) Environment. Couples Couponbook (CCB) is not responsible for the results of activities of other participation in any Couples Couponbook (CCB) Environment (including any content they may have contributed or shared).


The Rules Still Apply.
In addition to these Guidelines, your activity in Couples Couponbook (CCB) Environments. is governed by the applicable terms of use and the Couples Couponbook (CCB) Privacy Statement. You might also be a party to other agreements with Couples Couponbook (CCB) – those agreements still apply.


What Happens if You Don’t Follow these Guidelines?

In short: you might get voted off the island.
What does that mean? It means Couples Couponbook (CCB) reserves the right (but has no obligation) to terminate your participation in (and/or block your access to) the relevant Couples Couponbook (CCB) Environment if you violate these Guidelines – in letter or in spirit.

We also reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove from any Couples Couponbook (CCB) Environment any content or submission that violates these Guidelines – again, in our own judgement and whether the violation is in letter, or in spirit.
